Grampians Driving School in Deep Lead
Grampians Driving School was established in 2015 by Peter. We service the Grampians area of Stawell, Ararat and St Arnaud. We offer competitive rates and large discounts for our learning to drive services. We have had a great deal of success with past students and have had over 50 “5 star” reviews on Facebook. We offer learn to drive for all manual and automatic vehicles. We are very experienced with VicRoads Driving Assessments and Occupational Therapist Assessments.
Starting to Drive
The Grampians Driving School teaches the learner to drive in a dual controlled automatic or manual vehicle, in a safe manner. This means the use of log book/app so the student can progress to gaining their license. If you are want to learn to drive in either a manual or automatic vehicle, call us and we can arrange driving lessons for you to gain the skills and confidence to drive safely.
Multiple Learner Drivers
The Grampians Driving School has a lot of experience in teaching more than one learner driver to gain their license. If you have a friend who also wants to gain their license at the same time, we can accommodate for more than one learner at a time. This often gives confidence to the driver when others are also trying to gain their license. Peter has participated in Vic Roads Pilot of Road Smart 2017.
Elderly Drive Assessments
Grampians Driving School also do assessments of the elderly to determine their capability to continue driving in a safe manner. Drivers aged 75 and over are considered older drivers. These drivers are not considered a risk to driving on the roads, therefore it is the fitness of the driver that is assessed not your age. Elderly drivers may have medical conditions that may affect their driving capabilities. You may have slower response times, impaired vision and are taking medications that may affect your safe driving. We can assess these conditions and help the driver to stay confident on the road.
